The Fox ESS A Series A022KP1-E-W is a premium multiphase smart EV charger designed for residential and commercial applications, combining high-performance charging, advanced connectivity, and seamless integration with solar energy systems. Finished in an elegant white enclosure, this model complements modern architectural designs and lighter exterior finishes while delivering the same powerful performance as the black variant.
Capable of automatically supporting both single-phase and three-phase electrical installations, the charger delivers up to 7.3kW on single-phase power or up to 22kW on three-phase systems, providing fast, reliable charging for a wide range of electric vehicles. The integrated 7.5-metre tethered Type 2 charging cable offers convenient everyday use and compatibility with most EVs available in Australia and Europe.
Built with future-ready technology, the A Series supports OCPP 1.6 JSON and OCPP 2.0.1 protocols for advanced energy management and smart charging integration. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, RFID authentication, and optional 4G communication, allowing flexible monitoring and control through local networks or cloud-based platforms.
The charger is specifically engineered to work alongside Fox ESS hybrid inverter systems, enabling solar surplus charging and dynamic load balancing to maximize self-consumption of solar energy while protecting household electrical infrastructure from overload.
Constructed for demanding indoor and outdoor environments, the unit features an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure and IK08 impact protection. It also includes integrated residual current protection (30mA AC + 6mA DC) for enhanced safety and is hardware-ready for future Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and ISO 15118 bidirectional charging technologies.
